It's been ages.  In some respects, I've been living on the other side of a camera,  but in others I've just fallen off the face of the earth.  I haven't been completely stagnant, however.  Here are a few shots captured in my (intarweb) absence.

When someone gives you a gift, particularly a very nice/much needed gift, proper etiquette decrees that you 1) make use of the gift as soon as possible, 2) let that person know how well it works/how much it impacted your life, and 3) do something nice in return for that person. This is hopefully all three. Rudy brought me a loaner tripod the other day, and since I was absolutely geeked out about it, last night Jim and I went out to play.  Rudy, you are a god amoung men, the tripod is brilliant, and I simply can't thank you enough.  You've been bugging me to post, so here you go- I think about four or five pictures from our little town foray
